Unraveling

I am finally finding time to finish up the projects I started at Art Unraveled.
This is a woven water color I created in Jacqueline Sullivan’s class at Art Unraveled. I had completed the weaving and the 8″ x 10″ background in class, as well as the watercolor that was used in the collage. However, I knew it needed something. I added the center piece of copper after doing some doodling on it in repoussage.
I really like how it came out. Two others are almost done and I hope to post those here later today.

Fran,
After seeing the you had a blog when you posted something on the AU yahoo group, I decided to check it out! And I LOVE how you finished up the woven piece. The metal piece in the center is just perfect! It is sort of geometric – making it “unite” with all of the other straight lines, but a soft enough for contrast for the center of interest! It is so cool!
Hope to see you in August!
Hugs,
Jacqueline
