They were on sale at Jerry's Artarama when I ordered some other stuff. They're different from oil pastels in that they are much softer and easier to spread. I really like the texture of them. Oil Pastels also sometimes make me sneeze. These don't. They are so creamy that they move easily and blend well, too. And, well, Debbie, I think it's called "CRS"!
