Some new collages to share

I started this post last night, but was interrupted by, well, life! LOL Yesterday’s art is two collages. Both are up on Etsy.


This collage is an ode or rather a commentary on numbers and how they, in many ways, rain on our lives and can sometimes darken our dreams. Many of our dreams are put aside in place of monetary needs. Materials used: Paper, acrylic paint, canvas. The collage measures 10″ x 10″ and is on gallery wrapped canvas. It is available here for purchase.	I am really inspired by the colors that the sun brings at sunrise and sunset. This collage is my view of sunrise here in Arizona. the rich colors of the sun are created with the mixed media of wax, hand-decorated papers, and acryilc paints.This collage measures 4″ x 4″. It is on gallery wrapped canvas and is available here for purchase.

I hope to have more to show this afternoon. I’m focusing on clearing off my work table (again) since I have so many things in process. I need to move finished pieces to the “holding” spot! lol

Lovely works Fran!..I especially like the top one! I haven’t got into working with wax yet…maybe someday soon! Love and hugs!
