Studio Friday – a little late

Studio Friday’s topic on Nov. 10th was “Studio Indulgences“. Well, I really spent a lot of time this week purging things that were taking up space but I didn’t use and I didn’t need. Now I see that my indulgences – little things that I need to have for comfort – are the things that don’t change:

1. My TV with DVD player – I like to put on the music channels, a dvd or two, or listen to the news. I have to watch my soaps, too! (Days of Our Lives & Passions)
2. Music – My Ipod and the Ipod speakers are so necessary to me! If I’m ever caught not knowing where to go next, I put on some music, dance around, or sing (off key!) and that is often enough to get past the block.
3. My table – this was a huge splurge for me! It can raise and lower with the touch of a button – literally! It’s electric and really makes the studio great for whatever I want to  do – stand or sit, lean or bend over. The table is one of my monetary indulgences in the studio.
4. My color laser printer – I asked for this for my birthday last month and my husband happily obliged. I love that I can scan everything and print it out at my leisure, instead of having to go to the copy store all the time!

So there they are, my studio indulgences! Just in time for the next Studio Friday!
