[...] And, as far as art is concerned, I mentioned yesterday that I had been working in the den yesterday doing some doodling. It turned into the project I have wanted to work on for a while, but that had been taking a long time! When you have little energy, you feel like you have a ton of time! LOL So, I took the backgrounds I made this week and began to create my own alphabet collage sheets. I’ve got some more work to do on them, but I’m pleased with how they’re coming out so far. And to the right is a sneak peek! I hope to finish them up and get different sizes ready and then get some of these up on Etsy with some collage packs I’ve been quietly working on. Yep. I’ve been busy! [...]

Thanks so much. I enjoyed it and it was a good way to get back into the swing of art after a less-than-productive art time last week! :)

Your backgrounds are yummy Fran! I will agree with SueB that backgrounds are very soothing and relaxing! It is great to have a variety of backgrounds to launch a collage from! And sooooo useful for many other things! :D

Beautiful stack of colors. I love spending a day just making background surfaces, it's a very soothing no stress process for me.

Oooh, I love those backgrounds - all those gorgeous colours! Good Luck with your alphabets, Fran. I took up Nancy's challenge to make some recently and still haven't used them... thanks for the reminder! :) Have Fun!
