Thankful

It’s Thanksgiving here in the US. And I’m still fatigued from my treatment yesterday. Thankfully, I don’t have to cook today. We’re visiting some family this afternoon for the holiday. We just have to bring a fruit plate, which I’ll send my husband out for later today.

Some things I’m thankful for:

• My darling husband, Dave, who is the light of my life. He is always supportive of whatever my endeavors are. He makes me laugh at least once a day, makes up silly songs that he sings to me, holds me tight ant tells me he loves me. He is my very best friend.

• The IV medication and other medications I take. Though the medication fatigues me for 24 – 48 hours each month, I’m so thankful that it works the rest of the month!

• My family and friends, ncluding my parents, in-laws, brother, nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, and dear friends (who are more like family to me!).

• My art friends, online friends, and all of you reading this.

• My artistic muses, the ability to just get lost in my art, and where these take me.

• Music to warm my heart, whet my inspiration, and dance along, singing off-key.

• A comfortable home and bountiful food. The ability to help others through donations, community support, and volunteering my time.
