Better day, Studio Friday and Sneak Peek!

Today I woke up with energy and I felt much better. Thanks to all of you who sent me well-wishes. It means a lot! 
Studio Friday’s topic is Comfort and so I thought that with all the health stuff going on this week, I should share my “comfy chair” (left). It’s a chair I picked up at a garage sale about 4 years ago or so and it was $20. Some of the best money I’ve spent! I keep this in the corner with a blanket (beige, seen here!) and a memory foam pillow. It is near my journaling stuff and I can see the tv from here, as well. It’s good on a cool day, since I can sit and cuddle up under the blanket. Having this chair in the studio means I can sit in there and feel artistic even if I don’t have any energy to do so. It’s been a good thing for me!
And, as far as art is concerned, I mentioned yesterday that I had been working in the den yesterday doing some doodling. It turned into the project I have wanted to work on for a while, but that had been taking a long time! When you have little energy, you feel like you have a ton of time! LOL So, I took the backgrounds I made this week and began to create my own alphabet collage sheets. I’ve got some more work to do on them, but I’m pleased with how they’re coming out so far. And to the right is a sneak peek! I hope to finish them up and get different sizes ready and then get some of these up on Etsy with some collage packs I’ve been quietly working on. Yep. I’ve been busy!

So glad you are feeling better!:) Even when you were feeling ucky you still found some time to create! You go you! I love these alpha sheets! These are so yummy! Love your comfy chair! I have one too but unfortuately it wont squeeze into my tiny studio LOL I finally got the studio somewhat picked up and ready to move the Christmas decor boxes back out into storage(since they are empty now) hehe and this weekend move a bed in here for my step daughter Sarah and Brianna. I have a bit of moolah stashed away to buy them a bed in a bag just for them.

Thanks to all of you! I’ve never been able to sit and just watch TV without at least doodling, writing, ro looking at a magazine, so I started playing and these came out! So glad you like them.

I love our airbed, it’s what we use for family when they come to visit. They love it and sleep well – and I can deflate it during the day to escape! LOL
