Thanks for all the sharing and very special thanks for the link about spoons. So true. I’m having a hard time deciding what to say in my next post. I think I’ll put a link to spoons also.

what a wonderful and fulfilling day you had!
for some reason your picture of the crater on the right, to me, looks loke a horned lizard hiding in the sand!
Pele is my favorite goddess. I used to include a tiny picture of a beaded pele doll i made in all the journaling artwork i did for others. she is like the phoenix. out of the fire comes new life.

Fran, although I am now slightly glowing with envy-green, I loved reading this entry. What a wonderful time you had with Angie and then the lunch of artist joy and chatter. How incredibly cool. I love the way your journal quilt reflects the colors of your volcano photo. I definitely think you captured the texture.

Fran, this turned out so cool! I love the colors you created! Very cool concept. I think it would be a fun play date to paint abstract from literal! I think we have enough play date ideas to last us into the next year! LOL! And they are sooo fun!
