Back from treatment
Posted on | July 30, 2007 | 4 Comments
I’m back from my treatment today. We started at 8:30 a.m. and I didn’t finish until 12:45 p.m. We went really slowly so that I didn’t have nausea. So far, this has worked. I’m sitting in the den catching up on email.
I’m blessed to have Angie in my life. She offered to put the kids in the car and come pick me up. It was so much nicer than having to take a taxi, though I would have done that! It’s always a treat to see Angie and her boys. They have not been over in a while to swim, so, of course, the first question Max asked when we got to my house was, “Are we going to swim today?” They weren’t, since we were not sure how long it would be before the medication hit. So far, I’m doing well, just starting to get tired!
Angie also brought me a huge bin of ties she got four years ago for a project she never started. I’m going to cut some of the ties up so I can use them in my pouches and other art.
Well, time to cut up some ties!

Glad to hear the treatment went well. I hope it transitions well, too. You’re right, Angie is a sweetie. Rest up for AU.

I hope you are doing better after your treatment – I have been thinking of you today.
How sweet of Angie to do that for you, but I am not surprised.
