More painting and Support A Place to Bark

I am still painting! The painting to the left is far from finished, but it’s moving along and I thought I’d share it. It feels good to be creative and to paint. I’ve got one more primed and ready, and a third drawn out. I’m on a roll and going with it. Tomorrow is my treatment, so I don’t know how much energy I’ll have later this week.
Joanne asked me if I’m doing a series. I’m not sure what I’m doing, to tell you the truth! I’m just working on what my heart is telling me to work on. I’m trying to find my style and to grow into a place where painting becomes more integrated into my life.
I wanted to take a moment to invite you all to support Bernie Berlin’s animal shelter. Bernie has been working feverishly to support animals in her no-kill shelter that might be killed otherwise. She nurses them back to health and then finds them loving homes in her Tennessee shelter. There is a contest for a grant that is going on. By simply donating with the badge at the right (scroll down!), you can support Bernie’s goal to get a huge grant from Six Degrees. If you wish, you can also add the badge to your own site. Every bit helps.

It’s a beautiful painting. You are very skilled an hinting at the thoughts behind the face.
I hope all goes well with your treatment tomorrow.
