One World One Heart

I’m happy to report that I’m feeling much better! Thanks to all of you for your emails. The medication seems to have worked. I’m still rather tired, but I feel better and I’m ready to sort of re-enter the world.
To celebrate, I’m going to participate in the big One World One Heart event. What is this event? Well, you can learn more by going to their site. Basically, the idea is to bring bloggers around the world together through a blog-wide giveaway event. It’s an opportunity for us to meet people we’d not ordinarily meet, to see blogs we might not have discovered, etc. With this opportunity comes the potential to win prizes along the way from some very talented and creative bloggers. And, of course, the ability to connect is so important!
So, now to the contest and prizes! I’m going to give away a glasses case I made a while back. I don’t know that I ever showed it here, but it’s shown below front and then back! 
It’s perfect for those little reader glasses we all use in our crafting! In the packaging, I’ll include some ephemera from my never-ending supply!
To enter the contest, please leave a comment to this post. You will be required to put in your email address, but it will not show. I will take sign-ups until 9 am Pacific Time on Valentine’s Day, February 14th. From there, I’ll use a random number generator to choose the winner. The winner will be announced here on the blog at around 9:30 am.

This is a great idea! However, I just moved across country and have most of my stuff in storage. What I would like to do, is go into as many of the blogs as I can and sign in. If my name gets pulled by anyone as a winner, I will donate $100 to AIDS Foundation in memory of my brother. If my name gets selected more than once, I will up the ante an additional $10 every time it gets pulled (greedy I know, but one can dream!!!) If my name is not pulled by anyone, I will still make a $50 donation. Tis way, everyone is a winner.
