More watercolor pencil painting

I’ve really been enjoying the watercolor pencil class. I’m doing a little every day. I have started several paintings that I disregarded when they became mud! But that’s how we learn. My favorite so far is the one I did yesterday. It’s to the left here. I’m really pleased with it. I have several others in process. Some may not make it past the experiment stage to posting, but I’m learning nonetheless!
I’ve learned that the key to this process is to really go slowly and to have patience. I need to let the layers dry in-between before I can add in some of the detail and texture. This really forces me to stop and focus and, really, to be in a meditative state. I know that I feel that way when I am doing most of my art. It’s why art is such a vital part of my life.
Tomorrow is my treatment, so I’m going to start early on the second week of class (tomorrow the second week starts “officially”. I’ve got everything all organized and waiting for me to start. I’ll set myself up in the den in the morning so I’m ready for the infusion. I am looking forward to being comfortable tomorrow!

I can see why this is your favorite. It’s very good. I hope the home infusion works and you have a comfortable treatment.

It’s beautiful! And I applaud for taking the patient route doing this, I’m not so good at that part:) Hope you’re feeling better.
