Quick Post

It’s Thursday and tomorrow I have my treatment. Since we have plans to travel to Chicago for Dave’s annual neurology convention, we’re doing it five days early. It’s been 20 years since I’ve been to Chicago (I’ve been to Rosemont for meetings, but that’s just not the same!). I was in college the last time I was there, and I toured around with a Chicago native. To say the least, 20 years means it’s a completely different city from what I saw and I, too, am completely different!
My friend, Joanne, is coming in for a few days to meet me. We’ve emailed, traded art, and have been here to support each other via email. But we’ve not met in person. I’m honored that Joanne is planning to come from Michigan to spend a few days with me. We’re going to, of course, visit the Chicago Art Institute! And we’ll find other ways to get into trouble.
I’ll check in after treatment. Have a great day everyone!
