For Art and Supply Companies

Fran does art work for the hobby industry, helping companies to get into markets that will help them to grow. If you are interested in these services, the following guidelines apply:

  • Stamps, supplies, products that are given for work completed are tools that will remain in the artist’s possession. This means that they will become the property of the artist.
  • A good faith estimate will be given to the company representative or individual prior to beginning work
  • A letter of understanding must be written and confirmed by both parties to determine the scope of the project, time frame, and compensation.
  • Compensation based on the good faith estimate will be provided up front at 50% to Fran. This is non-refundable and will be used for the purchase of materials and will also go toward the beginning of the design phase. Rates range from $15 to $50 per hour, depending upon the work to be done and the purpose for which it is produced.
  • Fran will update the customer on timing and let him/her know if additional time is needed. It will be a mutual decision between the artist and the company as to when and whether the project will be completed at this point.
  • The 50% up front cost is non-refundable once work has begun on the project
  • If the project is used in forms other than those agreed upon in the letter of understanding (i.e., in publication or on a website) without the artist’s explicit permission, additional compensation may be required.
  • Payment is due upon receipt of the completed project. Work is guaranteed in presentable and usable condition for 1 year.

Marketing Services

  • After the initial consultation, compensation based on the good faith estimate will be provided up front at 50% to Fran. This is non-refundable and will be used for market research and development of the project plan.
  • Fran will update the customer on timing and let him/her know if additional time is needed. It will be a mutual decision between the artist and the company as to when and whether the project will be completed at this point.
