Collage Challenge

A group I recently joined, Cloth Paper Studios (CPS) and they have a 7-day Magazine Collage challenge. I decided to participate after seeing Nancy’s collages.
I am so glad that I actually have time for art today and I’ll probably continue to do them as long as I feel the energy. Tomorrow is my treatment, I likely won’t have the energy to do any art tomorrow, so I have already started another! (I know, I’m strange and I get obsessive when I’m “in the mood for art”! 
I didn’t see anywhere that we couldn’t add our own “colors and “spin” to it, so I had to add a background of text from the magazine with gesso over it and then added color to it to unify the composition.
Back to art!

I did some more of these collages, and they can be found in my flickr account. The one pictured here is my favorite by far, but I had fun today!

Woohoo! You go girl! Love this! Love the colours! Glad your participating in this challenge! I wish you the best with your treatment! CPS is in no hurry so go at your own pace darlin! I know what you mean…I get in the art mood and sometimes turn out mass pieces hehe! Hugs!
