who is artsyfran?

I’m Fran Saperstein and I live in Phoenix, Arizona with my husband. I can’t think of a time when I didn’t do something creative! I am always looking to try new things and to learn new techniques that I can put my own spin on. I have always loved to play with different tools and anything in my dad’s or husband’s toolboxes is fair game! I have done samples for stamp companies, ink companies, and write freelance articles on stamping, business and art. Much of the other work is catalog work, advertisements, and commissioned work. I spent four years as the publisher of an online magazine, Scrapbooking.com Magazine.

I spend my time now working in my home studio on art that comes from and warms my heart and helps myself and others be healthy. I also love to teach and to demonstrate my art techniques and materials to others. It’s a great feeling to watch someone expand their horizons and look at me and say, “Wow! Thanks for giving me permission to do something different.” My classes are filled with practical skills and information to allow each student to find her own creativity and inspiration.
